Offer Description
Applications are invited for the following post:
Post-Doctoral researche/ Senior Post-Doctoral researcher, Faculty of Sciences & Health (Specified purpose wholetime for up to 5 years) (Reference 348'2023).
Hours of Work: A 37 hour working week is in operation.
Location: The successful candidate will initially be based in TU Dublin, Grangegorman but may be reassigned at the discretion of TU Dublin.
Salary: The successful candidate will be appointed at point (01) of the Post-Doctoral Researcher/Senior Post-Doctoral Researcher Salary Scale i.e. €45,322/€50,536 gross per annum.)
Closing Date: The closing date for applications is 5pm (Irish Time) on 8th February 2024. Late applications will not be accepted.
It is anticipated that interviews for this post will take place in week beginning 26th February 2024. The interview assessment will be 30 minutes in length.

Knowledge and Experience
- A PhD or equivalent (Essential)
- Evidence of a research profile and publication record within the requisite subject area
(Essential)
- Knowledge of research techniques and methodologies, in particular clinical trials (Essential)
Essential Criteria for a Senior Post-doctoral Researcher
- Successfully completed at least one Post-doctoral Fellowship or equivalent in the public or private Sector
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex information effectively to a range of audiences. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the appropriate mix of knowledge, experience, skills, talent and abilities
