Post Summary

The person(s) appointed will be part of a team of Library Guards. They will work in a very busy environment, capable of the physical demands of patrolling the Book of Kells Experience which includes the Old Library building, the digital exhibition space and the providing security for the gift shop and the Library’s collections. They also assist in building evacuations and other health and safety matters, when necessary.

Post status: Specific Purpose Contract

Hours of Post: 39 hours per week

Salary: This appointment will be made on the Library Guard Merged Fortnightly salary scale (€1,209.67- €1,376.43 per fortnight) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales. (tcd.ie)
