We are now looking to recruit a talented and ambitious colleague to join our team as we strengthen our national and international position as a leader in quality research and education. This post will extend from 1 August 2024 to 31 January 2028.

The successful candidate should have a PhD in History. They should have teaching experience and research expertise in the history of Ireland since 1750. They will have a publication record in line with career stage and an active research agenda in this area. The successful candidate will contribute to and take responsibility for, as appropriate, teaching and examining at all levels. They will also assist with general administrative duties and the development of the discipline and school.

Salary:

€59,801 to €95,401 pro rata p.a (applicable to new entrants effective from January, 2011)
