Lecturer/Assistant Professor, Sport and Exercise Science

Applications are invited for a specified purpose) post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Sport and Exercise Science within UCD School of Public Health, Physiotherapy and Sports Science.

Applications are invited for a temporary academic post in the area Sport and Performance in the UCD School of Public Health, Physiotherapy and Sports Science.

The role will focus on nutrition for sports and exercise and molecular exercise science. The post holder will have a leading role in sport science programmes across the School, contributing to the design, delivery and assessment of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, in particular the BSc Health and Performance science degree programme

. The role will involve research supervision of undergraduate and graduate students and the post holder will be expected to promote research-informed teaching. The School is a multidisciplinary unit which is highly research active; the post holder will support and contribute to the research endeavours of the School and to its administration.

95 Lecturer/Asst Professor Below The Bar (7944) Salary Scale: €35,598 - €62,210 per annumOr

95 Lecturer/Asst Professor Above The Bar (7943) Salary Scale: €55,951 - €88,601 per annum

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
