Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Performance

Applications are invited for a permanent appointment as Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Theatre Practice and Performance in the School of English, Drama and Film. Applications are particularly welcome from candidates with research and teaching expertise in performance and speech. Training and/or professional practice in devising and performance making, and a demonstrated ability in academic and practice-based curriculum development, are essential. The successful candidate will teach in the BA programme in Drama Studies, the BA Humanities, in the MA programmes in Theatre Practice, Drama and Performance Studies, and Writing for Stage and Screen, and will supervise and mentor PhD and postdoctoral projects.

Salary:95 Lecturer/Asst Professor Above The Bar (7943) €55,951 - €88,601 per annum

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
