Post Summary

Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin, and St James’s Hospital, seek to appoint to the The Joseph W Bigger Professor of Clinical Microbiology/Consultant Microbiologist (2003). The post will have its main base in the Academic Department of Clinical Microbiology which is located at St James’s Hospital, has a presence at the Trinity Centre for Health Sciences, Tallaght University Hospital, and will also be accommodated in the Microbiology Department of St James’s Hospital.

Post status: Permanent Contract (Full time).

Hours of Post: The initial commitment for this post will be to St James’s Hospital for 18.5 hours per week and Trinity College Dublin for 18.5 hours.

Salary: This appointment will be made on the Academic/Consultant salary scale at a point in line with current Government pay policy.
