IT Systems Manager, School of Computer Science

Applications are invited for a Temporary 3 year post (covering secondment) of a IT Systems Manager within UCD School of Computer Science.

UCD School of Computer Science is seeking to appoint an IT Systems Manager, who will lead, manage, and direct operations of the IT Team, providing a high level professional support, implementing new and improved services for School staff and students.

The purpose of this role is: 

• To lead a team of technical staff supporting academic and professional staff within the UCD School of Computer Science School Office.
• To support the Head of School and other senior members of the School as appropriate in the technical management of the School's facilities and systems.
• To oversee the procurement of IT hardware and software. 
• To develop and maintain strong collaborative working relationships and effective interactions with other technical and facilities teams across the University.

The person will report to the Head of School and will liaise closely with the School Manager in ensuring the effective running of the School.

95 Administrative Officer 1a (2013) 2010 Salary Scale: 64106 - 74911 per annum

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
