We are seeking an IT Analyst/Project Lead to join the Information Systems Team, Enterprise Solutions.

This permanent position will have a lead role in the support, maintenance and further development of a wide range of financial and staff related systems including but not limited to:

•         Staff Recruitment and Workforce Management

•         Payroll, Timesheets and Expenses

•         Learning and Development

•         Finance (AP, AR, GL) and Procurement

•         Online Payments

The successful candidate will have excellent technical knowledge and strong IT System Administration experience to effectively manage the system/application support, incident management and security administration for key business systems. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of project governance and experience of project management methodologies and artifacts and a demonstrable background using these attributes in major systems and business process implementations. The successful Candidate will have a strong understanding of data structures, data management and business intelligence reporting.

Reporting to the I.S. Manager, the successful candidate will coordinate the work of two members of the IS Team who are also focused on the support, maintenance and development of key financial and staff related systems. The ideal candidate will have experience of such systems in a Third Level institution or other business setting. The responsibilities of the post holder may change over time in line with ongoing developments within IT Services, the University and at national level. Because the role will involve supporting critical systems and services, it may be necessary to work outside normal hours on occasion.

Salary

Administrative Officer I (2023):                  €55,111 – €78,632 p.a. (9 points)

Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
