Head of Operational Innovation, Innovation Academy

Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Head of Operational Innovation within UCD Innovation Academy

Our mission is to contribute to the improvement of society through transformational educational experiences. With 1000s of learners each year from within UCD and outside, seven flagship programmes spanning innovation, sustainability and digital transformation, and a major strategic collaboration between UCD and TU Dublin, the UCD Innovation Academy (IA) seeks to recruit a Head of Operational Innovation to support its ambitious growth plan.

Reporting to the Director of the Innovation Academy, the appointed `Head of Operational Innovation’ will play a key part in the next phase of the Innovation Academy’s development and the realization of its Human Capital funded project with TU Dublin, Convene, by leading a culture of operational innovation, service excellence and programme innovation for this experimental and agile unit within the larger framework of the University. Managing and inspiring a team, you will be responsible for the operations strategy including processes, resources, HR, Finance, information management and innovative technological and sustainability integration. As Head of Operational Innovation, you will design and professionalize internal and external processes, ensure the provision of pioneering services to our learners, and with the leadership team design and deliver our sustainability strategy.

Snr Administrative Iii\2013 (2010) Salary Scale: €82,053 - 115,877 per annum

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
