Post Summary

The Department requires a motivated individual to join the team in the role of Executive Officer. As Pharmacology and Therapeutics will now be part of a division of Diagnostics and Therapeutic Medicine it is envisaged that the post-holder will take on responsibilities across the division, creating synergy, providing cover when people are on leave and cutting down on duplication of effort.  

The successful candidate will be someone who possesses excellent administrative and organisational skills. They must have exceptional multi-tasking skills, an eye for detail and first class communication skills (oral and written). With excellent interpersonal skills, the successful candidate should be committed to working successfully in a team environment. Excellent office IT skills are essential.

Post status: Permanent  

Hours of Post: 35 hours per week


Salary:

This appointment will be made on the Executive Officer Merged Salary Scale (€30,252 - €48,082 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy.
