Applications are invited for a temporary post of a CDIC Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Civil Engineering within UCD School of Civil Engineering.

Applications are invited for a Lecturer/Assistant Professor (above the bar) role, in the School of Civil Engineering. This is a 5-year position. The School is seeking applications from candidates with a sustained record of high-quality peer-reviewed research.

The School of Civil Engineering is a research-driven school with a clear focus on delivering excellent research and education. It has an international reputation as a centre for excellence for research and teaching, ranked in the global top 150 for `Civil and Structural Engineering’ (QS Global Rankings), ranking number 1 in Ireland. The School has world-leading researchers in Critical Infrastructure and Water Resources, and is home to the Centre for Critical Infrastructure Research, and the Dooge Centre for Water Resources Research, and the successful appointee will have ample opportunity to develop their research agenda in these areas. The School has a focus on strengthening its expertise relating to climate change, data analytics, digitisation and renewable energy, and is seeking applications from candidates who can contribute in some or all of these focus areas.

95 Lecturer/Asst Professor Above The Bar (7943) Salary Scale: €60,261 - €95,425 Per Annum

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
