In support of the 2024 University College Dublin Strategic Plan 'Rising to the Future', UCD continues its ambitious plan to increase our faculty numbers by 500 over five years.

UCD School of Economics is Ireland's leading economics department. Our economists are experts with international reputations in a wide range of topics. Applicants must have an active research track record and be an effective communicator capable of excellence in teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The School also holds an Athena Swan Bronze Award. Applications from all fields of Economics are welcome.
