Eva Wittenberg’s Language Comprehension Lab (lcl.ceu.edu) in the Department of Cognitive Science at Central European University (CEU) invites curious, technically skilled, and organized candidates to submit applications for a Research Assistant position. The initial contract is for one year with the possibility of renewal. Being a research assistant is an ideal way to gain experience as preparation for grad school!

 

Your duties and responsibilities:

 

  • creating verbal and visual stimuli
  • programming experiments in Python/PsychoPy or similar
  • aiding in technical setup of behavioral and eye-tracking studies
  • organizing and executing data collection
  • administrative support

 

Your qualifications:

 

  • demonstrated programming knowledge in JavaScript, Python, R, and/or other
  • fluent in written and spoken English and German
  • friendly, organized, self-sufficient, curious about cognitive science and language research

 

Compensation:

 

10 hrs/week with annual gross salary 8925 EUR
