Web Designer & Frontend Developer

MetaMind Innovations P.C. is looking for one web designer and frontend developer who will play a key role in our team with respect to the implementation of user-friendly websites and web-based applications. The applicant will work with state-of-the-art technologies and will contribute to open-source and commercial solutions.

Basic Qualifications

– BSc or MSc in Computer Science/Engineering or related field

– Experience with HTML and CSS

– Experience with WordPress

– Experience with Javascript

– Understanding of SEO principles

– Excellent visual design skills

– Experience with responsive and adaptive design

Preferred Qualifications

– Experience with Research and Development (R&D) projects;

– Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and other visual design tools

Responsibilities

– Website and web application designing, building, or maintaining

– Conceptualizing creative ideas with clients

– Testing and improving the design of the website

– Maintaining the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards

– Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices

– Working with different content management systems

– Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes

– Incorporating functionalities and features into websites

– Preparing design plans and presenting the website structure
