The LIT - Leibniz Institute for Immunotherapy (foundation under civil law) researches and develops new immunotherapies for the treatment of tumours, autoimmune diseases and transplant  rejections.

Technical Assistant (BTA/MTA) (m/f/d)

(SST-2023-1), full time, limited to 2 years with possibility for extension.

Your Profile

We look for a highly motivated colleague that is able to work independently, and who is eager to support the lab. Being a team player as well as strong communication and organizational skills are necessary. Sufficient English skills to work in an international environment are mandatory. In addition to training in standard molecular and cellular methods such as western blot, PCR, cloning, cell culture, DNA and RNA isolation the applicant should bring experience in at least one of the following methods:

  • Immunological methods such as flow cytometry, cytokine assays, primary T cell isolation/culture
  • Animal work (mouse models)
  • CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing
  • Virus work (biosafety level 2)

The remuneration is based on TV-L.
