The research group for Computational Biomolecular Dynamics (Prof. Dr. Bert de Groot) is inviting applications for a
Postdoc Position (f/m/d)
– in Free Energy Calculations –
in the following areas:
- binding pose assessment for drug development in collaboration with pharmaceutical industry
- development of the open source package PMX, as part of the EU Centre
of Excellence “BioExcel” - addressing sampling and convergence challenges
Your profile
The successful candidate has a keen interest and strong skills in computational molecular physics, structural biology, statistical mechanics, and scientific computing, as well as a strong interest in interdisciplinary research and collaboration with experimental groups. You hold a PhD or an equivalent degree in any of these or a related field.

Position details
The position is limited to two years with a possibility of extension. Payment and benefits are based on the Collective Agreement for the Public Service (TVöD Bund) guidelines. The starting date is flexible.
