Job description:
Participation in the research and teaching activities of the research group "Complex Analysis". (We expect from the candidates willingness to acquire knowledge of the German language at a level which is sufficient for the teaching duties within one year.)
The position entails the opportunity to do a doctorate.

Requirements:
Master‘s degree or diploma in mathematics.

Desirable:
Working knowledge of algebraic and complex analytic geometry on the level of the books by Hartshorne and Griffiths/Harris, basic knowledge of geometric invariant theory, the theory of algebraic and holomorphic vector bundles, gauge theory, and the theory of derived categories.
