Remote sensing research engineer assigned to the INTERREG-V Indian Ocean project "ESPOIRS" (Study of Precipitating Systems in the Indian Ocean by Radars and Satellites)

ESPOIRS is a project focusing on the study of the water cycle and cyclonic precipitations in the southwest Indian Ocean basin using a regional network of terrestrial GNSS receivers and an equipped X-band mobile weather radar of Doppler and polarimetric capabilities. The research engineer recruited for this mission will strongly contribute the technical implementation of the project in the field. In particular, he will be in charge of the deployment and operation of the instruments deployed under the program in Reunion, Seychelles and Madagascar, in collaboration with all French, Malagasy and Seychellois researchers and technical staff involved in the project.
