The Unit of Neurobiology of the Synapse and Ion channels (UNIS U1072, Marseille, France) headed by Dominique Debanne aims at understanding the molecular mechanisms of neurotransmission and the role of ion channels in neuronal communication, plasticity and brain diseases.
We are looking for a highly motivated post-doc with solid experience in patch-clamp recording on brain slices in vitro. Advanced skills in cellular excitability, confocal microscopy and in programming would be welcome. The project focused on long-term plasticity of intrinsic neuronal excitability in neurons.
