Job Description

The Department of Philosophy at the National University of Singapore invites applications for two open-rank (tenure-track or tenured) appointments. Philosophers of all research specialties are encouraged to apply.

Assistant Professorships will be funded by the university's Presidential Young Professor scheme for tenure-track faculty with significant research achievements. It provides internationally competitive salaries and benefits, including housing benefits and research funding of around $500,000 SGD (approx. $350,000 USD). The teaching load is 2/1 (one or two courses per semester, totalling three per academic year). Applicants should submit a CV, a writing sample, and 3 letters of recommendation. On-campus flyouts will be conducted in early 2023.
