Job Description

The Office for International Education at DTU are looking for two student coordinators to plan and execute Introduction Week. Introduction Week has a broad target group: Local masters students, International Masters Students and exchange students. 
Your Primary responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive planning and execution of Introduction Week.
  • Coordinating parallel events for Masters and Exchange Students.
  • Effective collaboration with stakeholders and volunteers.
  • Fostering an inclusive atmosphere and cultural sensitivity.
  • Incorporating feedback for continuous improvement and ensuring a positive student experience at DTU.

As coordinators you will also assume the pivotal responsibility of overseeing and effectively allocating tasks among the Buddies. The Buddies, in this context, refer to mentors engaged during the introduction week to facilitate international groups of new students both during the introduction week and throughout the first semester.

We are looking for a DTU-students with the following skills:

  • Experience working in an international environment
  • Experience with, or a strong desire to learn about project planning
  • A flair for planning processes to ensure a well-executed product
  • Experience with, or a strong desire to learn about planning and executing a social media campaign.

Employment
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement for student lecturers at universities etc. (SUL ).
Working hours are on average 12 hours per week and can be organized flexibly in relation to holidays, exams, etc. Starting date is 1 March 2024 (or according to mutual agreement). The employment runs as long as you are an active student.
Your workplace will be at DTU Lyngby. It is required that you are available to work during normal working hours (09.00-16.00) as you will be working and collaborating with full time employees.

Office for Study Programmes and Student Affairs (AUS) is DTU's central study administrative unit. AUS is responsible for guiding students though their study programmes – from when they’re first admitted to when they enter the job market. The department is organized into six offices and consists of approximately 90 employees who work with admissions, guidance, exam management, student mobility, and much more.
