MSC seeking a student assistant for the CBS Center for Business and Development Studies. The student will mainly provide research assistance on a project between researchers at the Center for Business and Development Studies (MSC) and Novo Nordisk. The project is about delivery of diabetes medicine in developing countries.

The tasks can include but are not limited to:

  • Collecting data and make literature reviews
  • Developing cases, including teaching notes for cases
  • Conducting  and processing interviews
  • Ad hoc tasks related to the project

We are looking for someone with:

  • Excellent English writing skills
  • Ability to collect and consolidate large amounts of data
  • Experience in conducting interviews with high level informants
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and firm strategy in developing countries

Please note that you need to be a master’s student to be considered for the position. Priority will be given to those who has a bachelor’s degree and/or are doing their master’s in business, development and culture.

Salary and terms of employment

Employment will take place in accordance with the HK organizational agreement and the Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Taxation and Publicly Employed Organizations (OAO-S Collective Agreement).

The salary amounts to between DKK 132.68 and DKK 139.19 depending on previous employment with office employment experience and level of education. Pension is paid if there has been 9 months of prior employment in the public sector and you are over 20 years old, or have previously been covered by a pension scheme as part of a previous employment. The pension contribution amounts to 11.19% of the pensionable salary components.

It is a requirement that you are an active student at a higher education institution to be employed.

MSC is looking for a student assistant for a permanent position until you finish your studies.

Working hours: on average 10-15 hours per week

Expected Start: As soon as possible. The employment is expected to end 1/8-2024.
