Project manager for DTEC Facilities - DTU Wind

Job Description

The Danish Technical University has a vacancy for a Project Manager position with the DTU-TotalEnergies Excellence Center in Clean Energy (DTEC) at DTU Risø Campus. DTEC is a mission driven to support research and development on a wide range of clean energy activities.

Core to DTEC is the development and operation of a state-of-the-art hybrid power plant (HPP) facility at the DTU Risø campus integrating a number of clean energy technologies together for providing electricity production, storage and even power-to-x applications. This project manager will have the main responsibility for the project management of the facilities - assisting the Head of Center and senior research staff at DTEC, and working closely with the senior development engineer of the facilities.

Areas of responsibility 
As Project Manager of DTEC Facilities you will be responsible for:

  • Tracking of facility development progress and status
  • Structure data and information, including budgets and forecasts
  • Facilitate program management processes, including continuous improvements
  • Coordinate communication and reporting of activities to our stakeholders
  • Foster knowledge sharing, collaboration and community of best practices

Our expectations to you

  • A relevant B.Sc or M.Sc. ideally supported by a relevant education in Project Management
  • Experience with project or program management
  • Proactive with strong planning and organising skills
  • Structured with an eye for the details
  • A team player with strong collaboration and communications skills based on solid understanding of various stakeholder interests
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, a positive attitude and a high drive
  • Expert in Microsoft Office package

Salary and appointment terms
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC).

The position is a permanent position on full time or part-time at min. 20 hours.
