Job Description

The new colleague will have an important role in managing and coordinating large consortia, securing funding for research projects, and expanding our partnerships locally and globally.

This position is an important part of maintaining large collaborations and securing funding for research initiatives. This supports the development and execution of the department strategy, which is to develop sustainable and innovative solutions based on agroecological principles. This position thus offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of advancing the department's mission of promoting sustainable agriculture through innovative research and international partnerships.

The qualified applicant will have the opportunity to join a skilled team of fundraisers and project managers within the department. Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate large research consortia, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among partners.
  • Manage and coordinate reporting and eligibility requirements.
  • Identify funding opportunities and develop grant proposals to support departmental research initiatives.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with funding agencies, donors, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic guidance on project development and fundraising strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the department's international profile and impact.
  • Support capacity-building activities, event organization, and training initiatives as needed.

Requirements
  • Academic degree in a relevant field (e.g., agriculture, environmental science, international relations).
  • Proven experience in project management, primarily in an international context.
  • Knowledge of the EU and Danish funding landscape is advantageous.
  • Advanced communication skills, with fluency in English. Knowledge of Danish or other languages is beneficial.
  • High organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Service-minded attitude, flexibility, and a collaborative approach to working in a team.

Salary and terms as agreed between the Danish Ministry of Taxation and the Confederation of Professional Unions.
