Postdoc in wide area astrophysical surveys

The cosmic DAWN survey is a deep and wide imaging and spectroscopic survey of 50 square degrees of the sky. These fields will be targeted with deep near infrared observations by the Euclid Satellite. The Cosmic Dawn Survey adds matching depth optical surveys with Subaru Telescope and the Canada France Hawaii telescope and spectroscopy with the Keck telescope.

The postdocs will work on this survey. Duties will include proposal writing, planning and execution of observations, data reduction, catalog building as well as science exploration and scientific publications and other forms of dissemination.  The post may also include training of students, teaching and performance of other duties.

Terms of employment

The position is covered by the Memorandum on Job Structure for Academic Staff.

Terms of appointment and payment accord to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State.

Negotiation for salary supplement is possible.
