The successful candidate will work on a strategic project in collaboration with the Centre for Cyber Security (CFCS) , the Denmark’s IT security authority, Network Security Service and National Centre of Excellence within cyber security.
The position will start on 1 June 2024, or later and be for 1 year.
The candidate should hold a PhD degree in Computer Science or a related field and have a strong record related to any of the following research topics: network security, critical infrastructure security, cryptographic protocols, system security.
Responsibilities and qualifications

The main task is to explore efficient methods for moving large amounts of classified data between two different locations In particular, project aims at addressing the problem of how data transfer can be done in the most secure and efficient way, according to specific functional and non-functional requirements. The project requires to analyse current technologies that could be used to address the problem based on identification and design of the best all round solution for solving the problem. The project also aims at setting up a proof-of-concept (PoC) system where solutions can be tested by DDIS with respect to the agreed functional and non-functional requirements. MSc student projects can be involved with the design and implementation of the PoC.
The project will involve the following activities:

  • Threat and requirements analysis
  • Analysis of the state-of-the art technologies in software-based crypto-solutions for classified data
  • Based on the previous two analyses, identify and design the best technological solution for solving the problem
  • Develop a PoC of the solution, to be tested by DDIS.

The ideal candidate has:

  • A PhD (or equivalent) in computer science or a related field, with a specialization on network security, critical infrastructure security, cryptographic protocols, system security

  • Postdoc in Scientific Computing: Coupling 3D Experimental Movies with Materials Simulations – DTU Construct
Kgs. Lyngby, Denmark Posted on 02/23/2024

During the last 10 years we have developed a hard X-ray microscope at the European Synchrotron Radiation Source (ESRF) that for the first time can visualize how atomic-scale defects, dislocations, self-organise into patterns during plastic deformation of metals. Our aim is to use this advantage to generate a new generation of materials models, that are based on first principles. Coupling the vast 3D experimental movies with the most advanced dislocation dynamics simulations requires novel numerical tools and data science approaches.
