Job Description

We are looking for a user trained in the use of a scanning thermal probe lithography system for the application of said technique to van der Waals heterostructures to produce test devices for magnetotransport measurements.
The job
You will be responsible for

  • Preparing substrates for patterning by spinning resists.
  • Patterning via scanning thermal probe lithography.
  • Subsequent processing with etch and deposition equipment to produce a final device.
  • Documenting your work to enable continuity and usability by future researchers.

Our expectations of you
You must have previous experience of scanning thermal probe lithography systems due to the required duration of the position and the short deadline for results. You will use the rapid prototyping capabilities of the system to their fullest extent, producing multiple generations of prototype devices for electronic and magnetotransport characterisation. You will develop your solutions in close collaboration with the team in order to ensure that your work is maximally useful and compatible with our existing and future processes.

Salary and appointment terms
Salary and appointment terms are in accordance with the OAO-S Joint Agreement and the organization agreement for Office Clerks, Laboratory Technicians and IT staff (HK/stat).
Working hours are on average 8 hours per week and can be organized flexibly in relation to holidays, exams, etc. Starting date is immediate, or according to mutual agreement). 
The workplace is DTU Lyngby Campus.
