Do you want to be a part of a dynamic admissions teams for full-degree MSc International Students? And are you driven by new challenges and goals?
The Office for Study Programmes and Student affairs (AUS) is seeking a new colleague to be a part of our ambitious MSc International admissions team. 
AUS is organized into six offices with about 90 employees. AUS’s mission is to develop and support the educational process at DTU, with a focus on our students.
The position of MSc Admissions and Recruitment Officer is placed in the Office of International Education, where you will join a group of 23 highly competent colleagues. Together our assignment is to create the best possible framework for the recruitment and admission of MSc full degree International students and contribute to the recognition of DTU as an international elite university with a global learning environment, which equips its graduates with strong skills to work globally.
The office is divided into four teams – and you will be placed in the MSc International admissions team, which is made up of 4 colleagues. The MSc International admissions team works with all aspects relating to the recruitment and admission of international students and focuses on an international student’s journey from awareness to study start. The team works with strategy, marketing, guiding international students, admission, fee payments, residence permits, and retention activities. 
Your daily tasks will not require knowledge of Danish. However, Danish is the official language in the central administration and the meetings are in Danish. We therefore expect from you, that you are on track to learning Danish.
The job
Your tasks will consist of the following:

  • Admission of International MSc full-degree students.
  • Active contribution to the strategy and development of the team’s activities. 
  • Counselling to International students.
  • Engagement in marketing initiatives to promote DTU and DTU’s MSc programs.
  • Strengthening the communication and retention activities of the team.
  • Work with National scholarship bodies to support international students.
  • Representation of DTU at events. 
  • Ad hoc tasks.

  • Have a higher education degree.
  • Are highly interested and motivated in working with international students. 
  • Pro-active and can think out of the box.
  • Multi-task. 
  • Be detail oriented. 
  • Team player and can also take on responsibility individually.
  • That you are fluent in English and feel comfortable using this in a professional setting. You are expected to have the ambition of learning Danish – and understand that larger internal meetings may be conducted in Danish.

Salary and appointment terms
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC). 
The position is a full-time position with 37 working hours a week on average. The starting date is 1 May 2024 (or according to mutual agreement).
The workplace is DTU Lyngby Campus.
