External lecturer on Service Development

A position as an external lecturer on Service Management, with a particular reference to teaching within the area of Service Development and Service Innovation at the Department of Management, Politics and Philosophy is available on 1 February 2023 / as soon as possible.

The position is on a temporary part-time basis and limited to three years.

The main responsibilities covered by the position, will be related to the teaching of a 2nd year course on “Service development” in the HA-SEM bachelor program, which is a pivotal course for the Service Innovation concentration of this program. In addition, the position may also include supervision of bachelor projects at HA-SEM. 

The position includes

  • Teaching in areas: Service Development and Service Innovation
  • Delivering practical exercises (workshops) on service development
  • Student/group supervision
  • Preparation of teaching material and exam questions
  • Participation in exams

Qualifications
The position usually requires a master's degree and further qualifications (special skills), special practical experience or other special qualifications at a high level. Applicants must have relevant experience of teaching service development, design or innovation and experience of applying service development methods in practice.

Teaching-related qualifications will be included in the assessment.

Employment
Salary and employment take place in accordance with the circular regarding external lecturers at universities, etc. under the Ministry of Education. The number of working hours is a maximum of 500 hours per academic year and may vary during the semester. The number of hours will be determined twice a year and the employee will be paid in accordance with this. In connection with employment as an external lecturer, the future employee must accept to take a pedagogical course organised by CBS and participate in lecturer meetings.
