Do you want to be part of an engaged teaching team of experienced educators? Do you want to contribute to ensuring that all masters from DTU are knowledgeable in the field of sustainability? Do you want contribute adapting the web based learning platform to help students learn? Then you might be the person we are looking for as a skilled and experienced administrative coordinator of a large and exciting course that is mandatory for most master students at DTU. 

The job
The administrative coordinator will handle all non-scientific aspects of a specific course at DTU. The course that teaches sustainability to master students, is partly on-line and partly on-site at DTU where it involves a problem-oriented case study part where the cases will be provided by a number of DTU departments. 

The course is so-called polytechnic foundation, meaning that almost all master students at DTU will be following the course (between 1800 and 2500 students per year). The course runs both spring and fall semesters. The administrative coordinator will ensure a smooth high-quality execution of the course. The responsibilities include:

  • Developing the on-line learning platform (DTU learn) and continuously update content during the course (e.g. groups, exercises etc)
  • Answering practical questions from students
  • Organizing and managing on-site activities
  • Organizing and managing case study activities, incl. supervision sessions

Our expectations of you

  • You have an academic background at master level
  • You are knowledgeable about teaching and learning
  • You are skilled IT user, and probably knows HTML
  • You are systematic and well organised and maintain a good overview
  • You like to interact with people and excel at communicating
  • Experience with the learning platform Brightspace, D2L or similar will be beneficial

Salary and appointment terms
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC). You are employed as an Academic Officer
