Offer Description

A Space Engineer position is open for the full development of PROC electronic boards, FPGA electronic boards, MOD electronic boards, DEP electronic boards, E-Box interconnecting harness, and E-Box to instrument harness for the VenSpec-H instrument of the EnVision mission. This position is available at the J. Heyrovsky Institute of Physical Chemistry in Prague, Czech Republic. The role involves close collaboration with the Institut Royal d'Aéronomie Spatiale de Belgique (Koninklijk Belgisch Instituut voor Ruimte-Aeronomie, BIRA-IASP) and the European Space Agency. The position is funded by the PROgramme de Développement d'EXpériences scientifiques (PRODEX). For more information regarding the project, please contact Dr. Martin Ferus at [email protected] .

Type of Contract: Temporary (10 months with the possibility of extension). Three similar positions are available.

Job Status: Full-time

Requirements:

  • Deep, long-term, and well-documented knowledge and experience in the construction of space-grade electronics.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language.
  • Knowledge of French, Dutch, Czech, and German is an advantage.
