announces a selection procedure for 2 posts of
Senior researcher II IAL (M)
for Department of Machining, Assembly and Engineering Metrology

for project REFRESH - Research Excellence For REgion Sustainability and High-tech Industries (CZ.10.03.01/00/22_003/0000048)

The position is suitable for both women and men.

Required expertise:

Experienced researcher with scientific results in the field on an international scale with a high contribution to the research area of additive manufacturing, modern and innovative technologies, conventional and non- conventional machining, measurement and 3D scanning, the development of automated additive manufacturing with a follow-up to the measurement of shape-complex components and monitoring of the 3D printing process.

Activity description:

• Coordination research activities of the Additive Technologies Research Program in Industry 4.0 & Automotive Lab live laboratory.
• Independent research and Junior researchers work supervision. Publishing in impact journals Q1 (Q2).
• Participating in contacts with other partner workplaces.
• Participation in the preparation of projects from national and international sources.

Full time equivalent:                       0,4
Type of job contract:                         fixed-term employment contract with the possibility of extension
Expected start of employment:   1.6.2024 or as agreed

We require:

• An experienced researcher who solves demanding research tasks of fundamental importance in the field on an international scale, actively publishes and coordinates/leads scientific research activities.
• Required qualification Professor.
• Experienced researcher with scientific results in the field on an international scale with a high contribution to the research of additive manufacturing, modern and innovative technologies, conventional and non- conventional machining, measurement and 3D scanning, the development of automated additive manufacturing with a follow-up to the measurement of shape-complex components and monitoring of the 3D printing process.
• Ability to work independently, actively participate in R&D projects.
• Prerequisites for further scientific work (ability to work independently and to publish outputs in high- impact journals).
• Active knowledge of the English language.
