Offer Description
Development of methods and catalysts for the chemical recycling of polyolefins and for the synthesis of degradable polymers. The selected candidate will perform daily experiments using air-free techniques and will acquire experience in synthesizing and characterizing organometallic compounds as well as polymeric materials using standard techniques such as NMR, FTIR, and GPC (for polymeric materials). This is an apportunity for a postdoctoral position at the University of Chemistry and Technology (UCT), in the Laboratory of Sustainable Polymers, a joint laboratory between UCT and the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry (IOCB).
