Offer Description

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Ph.D. students to join our team of Department of Magnetic Measurements and Materials.

What you will do

Are you interested in experimental, theoretical magnetism, or both? More interested in materials preparation and advanced characterization? Then this offer is for you. We have it all.

You will deal with (multi)ferroic or multifunctional materials from preparation to characterization and their application for efficient energy use. Our goal is preparation with aim of development of the new energy – efficient materials.

Your supervisor Oleg Heczko, Dr. | FZU is ready to help you with your Ph.D. studies.

What do we expect

Master degree in physics, chemistry (ideally if you are interested in experimental magnetism, theoretical magnetism, or preparation of materials in chemical technology field)
Initiative, creativity and ability to solve problems independently and eager to explore the unknown
Good knowledge of English language
Well-developed social skills in order to be able to work in a team environment and contribute to a pleasant atmosphere

Further important information

Full time position (40 hours/week) or part time, if you prefer
PhD fully funded by project OP JAK, 1-year contract with possible extension for the period of the PhD study
