The Institute of State and Law of the Czech Academy of Sciences (CAS) - Centre for Climate Law and Sustainability Studies (CLASS) invites applications for a part-time position (36 hours/week) as Junior Researcher (Postdoctoral Researcher) in Climate Law with (start possible immediately), according to Act No. 283/1992 Coll. on the Czech Academy of Sciences, and the Statutes of the Czech Academy of Sciences. The vacancy is now open as a maternity leave substitute (until at least September 2022; continuation possible when satisfaction on both sides).
The position involves research in the field of climate law. We are looking for someone with expertise / interest in international climate law, EU climate law and/or climate litigation. Particular emphasis is placed on addressing urgent contemporary challenges such as law aspects of just transition, human rights and climate change or climate and gender.
