The HiLASE Centre is focused on the technological development of a new generation of diode-pumped lasers with a wide range of applications for scientific and industrial applications. HiLASE helps companies innovatively solve their needs and problems using globally unique laser technologies.

What's going to fill your calendar:
- Laser-induced damage testing and development of technologies based on laser ablation, particularly for area of semiconductor industry
- Design and assembly of optical setups, data sorting and organization, publication, metrology
- Work on national and international research and development projects
- Cooperation with industrial partners
- Results presentation at conferences, publications
Your skills and technical capabilities are:
- Finishing Ph.D. or postdoc
- Experience with experimental research
- Self-dependent, keen for new technologies and willingness to learn
- Teamwork, sharing experience and team members' guidance
- Drive and focus
- English proficiency
- Manipulation with laboratory devices and equipment
- Class IV laser operation
- Technical documentation understanding
You will receive extra points for these experiences:
- Experience with high-power lasers, laser optics and thin films
- Experience with laser ablation
- Experience with non-linear optics and wavelength conversion
