The director of the CEITEC Brno University of Technology is opening a scientific position of
Industrial Manipulator Programmer
The Center of Scientific Excellence CEITEC BUT(https://www.ceitec.eu/cybernetics-and-robotics/rg390 ) is looking for a programmer to develop visual telepresence, video streaming, and augmented and virtual reality applications. We need a person who will be able to learn new technologies and develop applications that can be used primarily for research in the field of robotics and Industry 4.0.
Responsibilities:
- Programming industrial manipulators, especially brands such as ABB, FANUC, KUKA.
- Programming manipulators in both collaborative and non-collaborative modes.
- Ability to learn new programming techniques and development systems for manipulators.
- Integration of robots into automation systems.
- Ability to program automation elements (PLC) and PCs (e.g., C#, C++) is an advantage.
Requirements:
- Good understanding of modern industrial manipulator issues.
- Knowledge of direct and inverse kinematics, kinematic structures (including SCARA), dynamics.
- Completed university education in electrical engineering or IT technology.
- Advantageous to have knowledge of PC programming, especially Ethernet communication - UDP, TCP/IP - socket.
- Ability to communicate in English, at least in written form.

Employment Conditions:
- Full-time job, 40 hours per week.
