announces a selection procedure for 2 posts of
Excellent researcher IAL (D)
for Department of Machining, Assembly and Engineering Metrology

for project REFRESH - Research Excellence For REgion Sustainability and High-tech Industries (CZ.10.03.01/00/22_003/0000048)

The position is suitable for both women and men.

Required expertise:

Excellence with outstanding scientific results in the field on an international scale with a high contribution to the research area of additive manufacturing, modern and innovative technologies, conventional and non- conventional machining, measurement and 3D scanning, the development of automated additive manufacturing with a follow-up to the measurement of shape-complex components and monitoring of the 3D printing process.

Activity description:

• Responsibility for the implementation of the Additive Technologies Research Program in Industry 4.0 & Automotive Lab live laboratory, transferring experience to other members of the research team.
• Research and own research team management, managing the work of other researchers (Senior researchers, Junior researchers, and others). Publishing in impact journals Q1 (Q2).
• Seeking opportunities for collaboration with other partner departments.
• Participation in the preparation of projects from national and international sources.

We require:

• Foreign/Excellence/Key Researcher with outstanding scientific results in the field on an international scale with a high contribution to the research of additive manufacturing, modern and innovative technologies, conventional and non-conventional machining, measurement and 3D scanning, the development of automated additive manufacturing with a follow-up to the measurement of shape-complex components and monitoring of the 3D printing process.
• Excellent publication activity, H-index min. 20, min. 70 publications in high-impact journals or verifiable 1,500 citations.
• Ability to work independently, actively participate in R&D projects, experience in managing large international teams, demonstrable involvement in solving international projects, long-term international cooperation, 3 acquired projects in last 10 years.
• Prerequisites for further scientific work (ability to work independently and to publish outputs in high-impact journals).
• Active knowledge of the English language.
