The Czech Academy of Sciences announces a call for the position of
Director of the Institute of Vertebrate Biology of the Czech Academy of Sciences

Requirements:

• scientific activity in one of the main fields of the research activities of the Institute,
• organizational skills and management experience,
• university degree and scientific qualification in one of the fields of research activities of the Institute,
• active knowledge of English, knowledge of Czech language an advantage, other language skills an advantage,
• moral and scientific integrity,

Expected term in office: from 15 June 2024 to 14 June 2029.

Applications and their annexes must be submitted in written form in Czech or English.

The application must include:

• a structured curriculum vitae,
• proof of university education and scientific qualifications,
• an overview of current professional experience,
• a list of principal scientific work and publications,
• a management concept of the Institute and plan for development of its activities, including the strategic outlook for the Institute.
