Assistant Professor - Research field: blood biochemical parameters

The Institute deals with the issue of nutrition of farm and hobby animals, cultivation of fodder and use of fodder plants for production and non-production purposes, production of solid and bulk fodder, quality and health safety of fodder, basics of veterinary science and diseases of farm animals. We are looking for a Academic staff member:

Assistant Professor for Departement of Animal Nutrition and Forage
Research field: blood biochemical parameters

What will you do?

• ensuring the teaching of subjects focused on the basics of veterinary issues and livestock diseases
• deal with research in the field of biochemical blood parameters, especially blood serum proteins, the influence of - nutrition on the biochemical parameters of the blood of domestic animals and laboratory animals
• arranging and organizing trips for students
• management of final theses (bachelor's and diploma's) focused mainly on diseases and illnesses of farm animals
• work in the laboratory
• publication and scientific activity
• submitting a project focused on the field of research

What do we require from you?

• the qualification MVDr. and doctoral education, Ph.D
• skills and theoretical knowledge in the field of teaching subjects focused on the basics of veterinary medicine, diseases and illnesses of farm animals
• excellent Czech language for teaching students
• ability to write professional and scientific articles in English and understanding of professional text
• skills and abilities of organizing and organizing trips for students
• knowledge of tendering procedures for laboratory instruments and other laboratory equipment
• experience working in a laboratory, performing comparative measurement of devices
