Job title: Assistant Professor
Field and specialization: Intercultural communication, translation and interpreting, Spanish
Expected salary/job rank: AP2
Full-time position: 0,5 (20 hours per week)

Job description:

• teaching Czech and/or Spanish, at bachelor's and/or M.A. levels
• serving as a bachelor and master thesis supervisor and examiner, and as an examiner in committees for state and entrance examinations
• participation in projects conducted by the Institute of Translation Studies

Skills/Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Translation Studies with focus on the Spanish language and culture (knowledge of Spanish language at the C2 level)
• experience in editing translated literature
• teaching experience in an international setting is welcome
