Skills/Qualifications
The candidate should hold a Ph. D. or equivalent in the corresponding or related fields, min 2 years of experience on the construction and operation of scintillator detectors in high-energy physics, experience with the ALICE detector is a plus.
Expected scope of work for the offered position:
- physics of scintillator detectors and of relativistic heavy ion collisions in ALICE at the LHC
- teaching obligatory and optional lectures for the academic programs on nuclear and particle physics;
- supervision of the B. Sc. and M. Sc. students;
- preparation of research grants and participation on their activities.
