Academic staff member - Head of Department for the Department of Furniture, Furniture Design and Habitation

What will you do?

• managing the department in all fields of its activities, i.e. pedagogic, research, economic, consultancy etc.
• developing draft concepts of particular activities and proposal of measures to implement them
• responsibility for professional, pedagogic and scientific level of the department
• responsibility for effective use of delimited funds and proper asset-management
• planning, distribution, control, and reporting fulfilment of pedagogic activities in guaranteed courses
• regular assessment of all activities of subordinates, stimulation of pedagogic, research and publication activities, proposal of personal surcharges and premiums

Expected start: October 2021, fixed-term employment contract until 31.1.2023 with the possibility of extension
