Offer Description

Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb, Trg Republike Hrvatske 14, calls for applications for:

- one employee (m/f) for the associate position of assistant in the field of social sciences, scientific field of social work, scientific branch of social policy at the Department of Social Policy, for a certain period of time in duration of 6 years, as full time job.

The Assistant will be recruited to the post of Assistant at the Department of Social Policy to work on established Interreg Danube project “„Caring Communities: Transnational multi-level approaches for transformative changes in the Homecare Sector and Community-based Development of the Danube Region” until 30 June 2026, and after that date will continue to be employed until the expiry of six years from the date of commencement of employment.

Applicants must meet the requirements established by the Act on Scientific Activity and Higher Education and following requirements:

1) completed graduate study programme in the field of social science, preferably social policy or social work, political sciences, sociology or a related field

2) experience conducting research  using qualitative methods, preferably with a focus on topics related to social services, social services at home or in the community, social innovation and social entrepreneurshop. Preference will be given to those who also have experience with social impact measurement or project, program or policy evaluations.

3)  advanced knowledge of the English language

4) excellent communication and teamwork skills
