Department of Psychology (Professor Anna Weinberg)
Position Summary:
- Creating protocols and preparing materials for various studies such as the Expressive Writing Study and the Academic Stress Study.
- Participates in behavioural coding for infants and mothers participating in our Babies Study.
- Data proofing surveys of various studies—checking for errors and eliminating data from participants who failed the attention check.
- Assists with preparation of research grant applications to CIHR
- Contacts and schedules participants for various studies.
- Maintains participant spreadsheets and recontacts participants required to come in for follow-up visits.
- Answers all questions participants (and parents of participants) may have with regards to the research and the study).
- Assign and oversee research activities of undergraduates in the lab
- Setting agenda for lab meetings
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of experimental psychology.
- Works well with others.
- Can structure time and prioritize tasks.
Experience and education:
- Bachelors in psychology
