Department of Psychology (Professor Anna Weinberg)

Position Summary:

  • Creating protocols and preparing materials for various studies such as the Expressive Writing Study and the Academic Stress Study.
  • Participates in behavioural coding for infants and mothers participating in our Babies Study.
  • Data proofing surveys of various studies—checking for errors and eliminating data from participants who failed the attention check.
  • Assists with preparation of research grant applications to CIHR
  • Contacts and schedules participants for various studies.
  • Maintains participant spreadsheets and recontacts participants required to come in for follow-up visits.
  • Answers all questions participants (and parents of participants) may have with regards to the research and the study).
  • Assign and oversee research activities of undergraduates in the lab
  • Setting agenda for lab meetings

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of experimental psychology.
  • Works well with others.
  • Can structure time and prioritize tasks. 

Experience and education:

  • Bachelors in psychology
