Position Summary:
Pivot is an action research project seeking to drive sustainable change for small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs). We run a web-based social media platform that enables these SMEs to engage and share their accomplishments as well as challenges with regards to reducing their carbon footprint. We are seeking a part-time Full Stack Developer to join our team. You will help develop and maintain software to enable and engage our SMEs, and help contribute to a carbon-neutral economy. 
Qualifications:
Current undergraduate McGill student with 1-3 years remaining in their degree.
Studying Computer Science, Software Engineering, or have sufficient personal experience in software development. Experience with some of the following preferred: Javascript, ReactJS, Node + Express, MongoDB, AWS. Experience with any other similar frontend frameworks (Angular, Vue) and backend languages (Java, Python, C++) would also be considered an asset as long as there’s a willingness to learn our tech stack. Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level # 4 on a scale of 0-4.
