Hiring Unit:

Macdonald Campus Farm/Horticulture Centre

Position Summary:

General farm duties including land preparation, rock picking, seeding, transplanting, pruning, hoeing, some tractor work, harvesting fruits and vegetables, sales at Mac Market counter, data collection from research plots and all other duties assigned by the Chief Horticulture Technician. 

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities:

Previous work in horticulture an asset

Driver’s license an asset

Knowledge of English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level #2 on a scale of 0-4 .
