Offer Description

The Thematic Project “Spectroscopy signal enhancement:  Nanomaterials, theory and computer simulation”, supported by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP), searches for candidates for a post-doctoral fellowship to work at the University of São Paulo's Institute of Chemistry (IQ-USP), Brazil. We are interested in candidates with experience in the areas of Raman spectroscopy, surface plasmon resonance, catalysis, nanocatalysis, use of nanostructures as SERS (Surface-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy) substrates in combination with catalysts studies, synthesis of nanostructures by chemical methods and characterization by physical techniques – Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), etc.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 9,047.40 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.
