We are seeking self-motivated young researchers with backgrounds in materials, physics, chemistry, or engineering for a scientific research project based at the Nuclear and Energy Research Institute (IPEN) in São Paulo city, Brazil.

The project focuses on the fields of solid-state electrochemistry and catalysis and requires expertise in ceramics, nanoparticles, thin film deposition and characterization, synchrotron techniques, gas chromatography, and high-temperature materials.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 8,479.20 monthly, funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation and valid for 22 months. Also included is a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.
