Offer Description

A postdoc scholarship is available within a Thematic Project based at the Center for Exact Sciences and Technology of the Federal University of São Carlos (CCET-UFSCar) in Brazil. Research activities will be developed at UFSCar's Research Center on Advanced Materials and Energy (CPqMAE).

The Thematic Project is part of the Centre of Excellence for Research in Sustainable Chemistry (CERSusChem), an Engineering Research Center (ERC) supported by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in partnership with GSK, with UFSCar's Chemistry Department as its host institution.

The place is for a highly qualified Brazilian or foreigner researcher experienced in heterogeneous catalysis and with a PhD degree obtained a maximum of 7 years before, in Brazil or abroad. The position also requires English proficiency, and skills to work in interdisciplinary teams.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 9,047.40 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.
